WitrynaThe Benko Gambit is a fantastic opening choice. I never play it as black; I say this as someone who utterly fucking hates seeing it whenever I'm white and happen to play 1.d4.. While I'm not positive that "sound" is exactly the right terminology, you can rest assured that the Benko is a highly, highly regarded opening choice.
