If you look at the Rocky-road kit (which I have installed), the hanger attaches to the frame behind the actual shackle bushing thus pushing the bushing mount forward. An older blazer frame will have a 350, th350, np205 or 203, a d44 front with flat tops, and a 12 bolt rear attached. And you can pick the whole thing up for less than $500.
